Founder of Bees Care | Mum | Neurodivergent | Business & HR Student

Hi, I’m Sandra — a mum, a neurodivergent adult, and the founder of Bees Care. I created this service after experiencing firsthand how difficult it is to find childcare that fits shift work, family needs, and the everyday reality of paying bills. I know what it feels like to be overwhelmed, to want the best for your child, and to still feel like the system isn’t built for families like ours.

With more than 10 years of experience leading teams, creating safe systems, and supporting people in high‑pressure environments, I’ve learned how to stay calm, organised and solution‑focused even on the busiest days. Working across so many different industries has also allowed me to meet people from every background, personality and culture. This wide experience has shaped me deeply — it taught me how to build natural connections, how to communicate with empathy, and how to support people in the way they need, not in the way the system expects.

As someone with ADHD — and a parent of a child with ADHD — I understand how much children rely on structure, sensory comfort and predictable routines. My neurodivergence also means I thrive in environments that require adaptability: I read situations quickly, respond creatively, and adjust naturally to the changing needs of children and their parents. It’s one of my biggest strengths in care work.

I’ve also learned, through both life and work, that asking for help is not weakness — it’s wisdom. Knowing when to reach out, when to share the load, and when to ask for guidance allows me to support families more effectively and more honestly. Everything I’ve experienced — personally and professionally — helps me show up for families with genuine understanding, openness and support.
